Fun, natural, iconic event photography available across UK.
If you are looking for an experienced party photographer look no further. I have photographed over 50 weddings covering lots of lawn drinks parties to private house receptions to marquee events and private black tie dinner parties. Rain or shine. In tight spaces to lovely big private houses and barn receptions. I love the opportunity to create memories for small intimate gatherings or a once in a lifetime family reunion, wedding anniversary or special birthday party.
Sit back and have a look around the galleries below to get a feel for what I do. I am a London based party photographer but travel across the UK and Europe. Every party is different and fabulous in its own right. So don’t be put off by the size of the party you are organising as we can discuss the right coverage for you.
Capturing the heart and soul of your event - I think the key to delivering a great event photography service is being completely present and taking photos that I would want to take home with me if I was attending the event as a guest. The best feedback I get is it feels like I am an extended member of the family. My party photography coverage is very much about capturing the personality of your event from getting those beautiful wide shots to show scale and scope, to candid shots of people enjoying themselves in the moment. Making sure we don’t miss any important moments throughout your event covered by the pre-event consultation you have with me. So much time and effort goes into planning these parties. It’s my job to make a visual diary of the table decorations, flower displays, gardens to those beautiful hand carved ice displays. You name it! 50% of my time is spent photographing actors on film sets. This has taught me the art of telling a story in a beautiful visual language that really makes my work stand out.
Why Invest and hire a professional party photographer. We’ve all had uncle bob or aunty sue bring a digital camera and offer to take some photos of that once in a lifetime event. Consequently secretly crying behind close doors after seeing what they actually captured. Do I need to say more? You hire a professional, as we not only bring along countless backup equipment for that just in case moment but we have been perfecting our craft for years. Years of personal investment into learning the craft of photography. The craft of approaching people, interacting with people to create the images we pre-empty. There’s no luck involved. We create opportunities and moments. The party will be over in 24hours but the images you create are with you for life. Get my drift!
An experience - Laura Radford Photography is all for the experience. What’s life without enjoying the pleasant surprises of being looked after? Get in touch today to start the conversation and see for yourself how fun booking a professional photographer can be!

I am a UK unit stills photographer with recent TV credits including BBC dramas ‘Call The Midwife’, ‘The Missing’, ‘Father Brown’, ‘Hinterland’ to Channel 4’s ‘The Watchman’. My feature film work includes ‘Blue Iguana’ (Sam Rockwell, Phoebe Fox), ‘London Town’ (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Dougray Scott), ‘After Louise’ (Greg Wise, Alice Sykes) and ‘The Bromley Boys’ (Martine McCutcheon, Alan Davies).
I work in London as a stills photographer across film and television productions. I usually work alongside the unit publicist to ensure we’re getting the type of images that tell the story of the film in a snapshot that is memorable and iconic. Also capturing shots of all the cast which can accompany press articles for magazines and which may end up as a poster option for the film. Working on set most days depending on the size of the budget. I’ve worked on select days on short films where I will discuss with the producer the days that will have the most weight for publicity. The stills photographers job is to work unobtrusively amongst the crew. Working closely with the camera team to secure similar angles that represent the cinematographers vision and staying out of the actors eye line.
The stills photographer is also responsible for documenting the behind the scenes and capturing the story behind the camera. This usually involves capturing shots of the director interacting with the cast on and off set and to documenting heads of departments. Don’t confuse the role of a unit photographer with the EPK team. The EPK team are geared towards interviews of cast and generally behind the scenes video of the film set and what’s going on behind the main camera. All of this material gathered during principal photography is so important in marketing a film and can help grow an audience. And really can make or break the commercial success of a film. Unfortunately alot of independent film productions fail to see the importance of film marketing prior to the completion of the film. The process starts from the concept!
Based in London I cover corporate and social events all over the UK. I have a list of loyal corporate clients who are fabulous and keep coming back for more. They take me on fun corporate days out involving team building events, sporting events, corporate conferences, festivals, business meetings, networking events and drinks receptions. I really want to capture the heart and soul of your event, throwing myself into it 110%. Always looking for those images that stand out, on brand and offering my clients choice.

Now more than ever it is so important to invest in having a professional headshot. Whether you are part of a multi-national company to a small local business practice to a freelancer working on your tod one of the first things people like do is locate the bio and about pages. You should be proud of your headshot, it should reflect your personal brand and offer the viewer a quick snapshot into who you are. We’ve all sat on LinkedIn and scanned through everybody’s latest holiday photo which doesn’t radiate professionalism.
Booking a headshot session could not be easier. I would ask you have a look through the gallery below and tell me the type of shots that appeal to you or your company. Take the example of a recent headshot session with london creative agency Bearjam Productions. They wanted business headshots on a yellow backdrop which represented their brand colours and would fit nicely with their website. No problem. We covered the shoot with a series of wider shots which they could use for facebook and twitter banners to tighter traditional headshots for placement on LinkedIn and brochures.
Although I sell myself as a london corporate headshot photographer I can pack my portable studio in the car and come to you. We just need enough space to set up the backdrop and lights (3m x3m).
Photo booths are a great addition to any event and always go down well with guests. If you are looking to hire a photo booth for your next event please get in touch. My photo booth is a photo studio style set up with a red theatre curtain, props and a photographer taking the photos.
Some clients have provided their own backdrops as a way of adding a personal touch and branding. I am happy to discuss ideas and see what will work best for your event.
I love photographing families. Keeping it super easy, relaxed and shooting at a location of our choosing. Whether this is your local park, the beach or a national trust property I am open to suggestions. We can discuss the perfect package for you.
